Dyeing troubles and their solutions

Dyeing is the most technical part of the textile industry. It is not an easy task as you need to match the pre-production sample and production sample color with the sample color approved by the buyer. In some cases, the color does not match and you need to redye the entire batch for correction. In some cases, the following dyeing differences occur: 1. Uneven dyeing : reason : Due to improper pre-treatment. Rapid addition of dyes and chemicals. Lack of ability to control dyeing parameters. Remedies : To ensure proper pretreatment, 1. Scouring agent SL-JS266 , 2. High-efficiency degreasing agent SL-HOP100 Check that the amount of dyes and chemicals added is within a scientifically reasonable range · After dyeing, wash properly. This can be done by using our product high concentration soap detergent SL-DW16A 2. Crease : reason : · Excessive load on fabric during dyeing. Sudden temperature changes during cooling . Due to lack of synchronization between roller speed and pump pressure. Remedies : Our anti-wrinkle agent SL-IS100 can be used to avoid any wrinkle problems. · Scientific setting of temperature during the whole dyeing process. Maintain proper synchronization between roller speed and pump pressure. 3. Holes : reason : · Because there is a certain amount of Fe+ and Cu+ ions in the water bath . If charging is done at high temperatures, pinholes can form in the presence of oxygen. Insufficient amount of stabilizer during bleaching. Remedies : · The water used for dyeing should be free of water hardness. Our highly efficient chelating agent SL-AW33 can be used to remove water hardness. · Bleach Stabilizer SL-OW39 can be used to ensure fabrics are bleached correctly. Caustic soda addition should be carried out at low temperature (no more than 60 degrees) 4. Dye Points : reason : Improper mixing and dissolution of dyes . · High dye bath hardness. Remedies : · The mixing and dosing of dyes should be done correctly. Leveling agent SL-AN can be used to make the dyes and fibers mix evenly. · Dye bath water should not have hardness. 5. White stains from softener : reason : pH is too high The emulsification of the softener used is poor High water hardness Remedies : · Use high quality softener SL-SFS68 and correct application. Make sure the softener is evenly dissolved in the water Maintain the correct pH value. pH sliding agent SL-PHA1 can be used to control pH between 6-7 6. Feel problem : reason : Processing with harsh metal chemicals. · Insufficient application of softener in dyeing machines. Remedies : · Fluffy and smooth finishing agent SL-9QN and softener can be used. For other technical questions, please consult our technical department or send us an email
